An event of the world's largest crypto exchange was held in the capital of Kazakhstan

The world's largest crypto exchange Binance held a Binance Community Meetup in the capital. As part of the event, the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the advanced crypto services presented on the exchange and learn about further development plans in Kazakhstan.

The event was attended by the Kazakhstan Association of Blockchain Technologies (KABT), represented by the Chairman of the Board Sapar Akhmetov. During negotiations with Vladimir Smerkis, General Manager of Binance for Russia and the CIS, agreements were reached on cooperation in educational issues and informing the public about blockchain technology and the crypto industry.

“In Kazakhstan, there is a positive trend in the development of the crypto industry. An increasing number of citizens are interested in cryptocurrencies and the possible effect of reducing corruption through blockchain technology. Cooperation with Binance to cover the crypto industry will be aimed primarily at combating misconceptions about the industry and cryptocurrencies,” said S. Akhmetov.

During the event, Binance Business Development Director in Kazakhstan Rauan Sagidulla announced the plans of the crypto exchange to translate the website, application, and the Binance academy section into Kazakh. In addition, programs to support startup projects and programmers from Kazakhstan developing their projects on the BNB Chain blockchain were presented at the forum.

Recall that a pilot project for the functioning of crypto-exchanges based on the AIFC has been launched in Kazakhstan, which opens up opportunities for the legal circulation of crypto-currencies. Binance is also among the project participants.
