KOREM company spoke about the potential of blockchain technologies in energy saving issues

Kazakhstan Electric Energy and Power Market Operator JSC (KOREM) spoke about new approaches to energy saving and management, noting that with the increasing use of these sources, new challenges arise related to the management of energy production and distribution and they need to be answered.

According to the company’s experts, in this situation, blockchain technology can become a key tool for energy systems, which ensures transparency, security and reliability of processes. Blockchain can contribute to the creation of new solutions and innovations in the energy sector, and can also increase the sustainability of energy systems.

Earlier, representatives of the Kazakhstan Association of Blockchain Technologies and Data Centers, at the invitation of KOREM, held a seminar dedicated to studying the prospects for optimizing the company’s business processes using blockchain technologies.

At the seminar with the participation of KOREM, the possibilities of using blockchain in the energy sector, its advantages and potential impact on the optimization of business processes, including successful cases in other industries, were discussed.
