Crypto Currencies and the Canons of Islam

Last week, representatives of the Kazakhstan Association of Blockchain Technologies and Data Centers (KABT) discussed with the leadership and the expert group of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kazakhstan (SAMK) the issues of the permissibility of the use of crypto currencies and digital mining, from the point of view of the canons of Islam.

This issue is very important for the Kazakh society, since 70% of the population living in our country profess Islam.

Chief Executive of KABT Dauren Karashev noted that he was very surprised by the high level of experts and the extent to which such issues are being studied and evaluated in the SAMK.

During the discussion, the Head of the KABT demonstrated to the representatives of the SAMK the technical features and advantages of the blockchain, spoke about the legal regulation in Kazakhstan and answered the questions raised.

Following the meeting, the parties emphasized that blockchain technologies and artificial intelligence are the future and the society that will master these technologies more successfully and before anyone else will undoubtedly be more prosperous.
