Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana, Syganak str. 43, 15th floor.
Chairman of the Kazakhstan Association of Blockchain Technologies and Data Centers Dauren Karashev met with representatives of the business community Alimzhan Karakozov, Abzal Karsakbayev and Amankeldy Akbergen.
During the meeting, issues of the legality of trading digital assets on unlicensed global digital asset platforms, problems with account blocking by Kazakh second-tier banks were discussed, and the topic of information fraud in the field of investing in digital assets was also touched upon.
"To provide an opportunity for clients to replenish their accounts on unlicensed global digital asset platforms using a currency agreement similar to the stock market" is a proposal developed by the participants of the meeting.
If this proposal is supported, it will become the only way to legally trade on unlicensed global crypto exchanges. In our opinion, this option is better than the total blocking of global digital asset platforms, blocking of accounts in second-tier banks, sanctions under Article 214 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other related problems.
Currently, at the request of Chief Executive of KABT, Karashev, the business community will analyze and assess all potential risks.
In parallel, this proposal will be discussed with other representatives of the business community and interested government agencies.
