We decided to find out which area residents are most interested in cryptocurrencies using the Google search engine.

Let's clarify that the indicator of 100 is the maximum, which characterizes the maximum interest, and 0 demonstrates the complete absence of search queries.

The analysis of the data was made according to the requests for the current year.

So, the residents of the following areas wrote the word “cryptocurrency” most often:
1. Mangistau region - 100
2. Almaty region - 63
3. Atyrau region - 61

The least interest was found in:
1. Akmola region - 22
2. East Kazakhstan region - 26
3. Kyzylorda region - 32

In addition to cryptocurrencies, Kaznet users were actively interested in the first cryptocurrency. “Bitcoin” has become the most popular query in the following areas:
1. Mangistau region - 100
2. North Kazakhstan region - 41
3. Aktobe region - 36

The smallest number of requests revealed:
1. Kyzylorda region - 11
2. Akmola and West Kazakhstan regions - 21
3. East Kazakhstan region - 22

Judging by the charts of the Google Trends service, Kazakh users showed the greatest interest in bitcoin in May, during the period of falling prices, which was due to the wide circulation in the media. At that time, China banned financial institutions and companies from providing services related to the exchange of cryptocurrencies. Also there was statements maded by Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

Summing up the results of a short analysis, we can say that in the west of our country, interest in cryptocurrencies is higher. In the Akmola region and, accordingly, in the capital, the interest is extremely low, which may be due to interests mainly in politics.
