Kazakhstan ranks second in bitcoin mining

The updated data of the Cambridge Center for Alternative Finance on the global hash rate for August 2021 became known. Thus, Kazakhstan took an honorable second place after the USA.

Recall that the reason for the fundamental changes in the share of the world hashrate was the ban on the circulation and mining of cryptocurrencies in China.

Positions of countries according to the share of the world hash rate:
1. USA - 35.4%
2. Kazakhstan - 18.1%
3. Russia - 11.2%
4. Canada - 9.6%
5. Ireland - 4.7%
6. Malaysia - 4.6%
7. Germany - 4.5%
8. Iran - 3.1%
9. Other countries - 8.8%

The growth of computing power in Kazakhstan compared to the previous reporting period amounted to 8%.
