On December 13, 2021, the Blockchain Startups Weekend 3.0 forum was held in Almaty, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of Kazakhstan.
The forum was organized by the platform for startups and investors Crowdsale Network, C.Invest company with the support of the Kazakhstan Association of Blockchain Technologies and the ByBit cryptocurrency exchange.
The purpose of the forum was to familiarize the general public with the key areas of blockchain technology and the crypto industry, such as mining, staking, trading, DeFi, GameFi, NFT, as well as to present startup projects of domestic developers.
The event brought together representatives of government agencies, venture investors, experts and industry leaders in Kazakhstan. Among them: the founder of the platform for startups and investors Crowdsale Network Yerlan Dumanuly, CEO of C.Invest Diana Vasilyeva, Managing Partner of MOST Ventures Alim Khamitov and others. Islambek Salzhanov, Chairman of the Presidium of the Kazakhstan Association of Blockchain Technologies, acted as a special invited guest.

In addition, a separate area during the forum was the discussion of the issue of investing in cryptocurrencies, opportunities and risks, as well as the role of institutional investors in the stock market in the crypto industry.
A feature of the third annual Blockchain Startups Weekend 3.0 forum was the auction of NFT products and the “Startup Battle”, which was attended by 12 teams with their developments. Invited venture investors had the opportunity to support potential projects for further development and deployment throughout the industry.
