Kazakhstan Association of Blockchain Technologies signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Paxaro Labs

Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Association of Blockchain Technologies Sapar Akhmetov and co-founder of Paxaro Labs Askhat Bekmagambetov signed a memorandum of cooperation in the development of the Web3 & Blockchain industry in Central Asia. The parties have identified a number of areas for mutual cooperation, including through joint work to inform the public about products based on distributed registry technology and the integration of the Paxaro Labs educational program in higher educational institutions of the country.

Sapar Akhmetov, Head of the Association: “The signing of a memorandum with Paxaro Labs is a logical step to strengthen joint work on the development of the country's crypto industry. Citizen education and youth education will contribute to the development of the country's human capital and the growth of qualified specialists. The potential and the need for the development of this industry is confirmed by the special attention of the Head of State and the Government.”

As part of the signed memorandum, it is planned to interact with the country's universities to improve the financial literacy of young people. According to the latest data from international analytical companies, more than 324,000 citizens in Kazakhstan own cryptocurrency. The launch of a pilot project for the functioning of crypto-exchanges on the basis of the Astana International Financial Center provided an opportunity for citizens to acquire, store and sell digital assets legally.

Askhat Bekmagambetov, Head of Paxaro Labs: “The growing mass adoption of cryptocurrencies around the world requires a collaborative effort from experts for a smooth and correct perception of the new industry by society. In this regard, the consolidation of partnerships with the Kazakhstan Association of Blockchain Technologies by signing the Memorandum is an important event for consolidating efforts to develop the industry in Kazakhstan.”

As a result of the Memorandum, a Roadmap will be launched for coordinated actions that contribute to the development of the crypto industry in Kazakhstan.
